Landon Development

developmentJohn Landon founded Landon Development in 2006 then began his search for land in prime location that could be developed into successful residential communities.  Two years later, he started the homebuilding company Landon Homes which absorbs the majority of developed lots. In 13 years, the Landon companies have built momentum as well as communities and homes.  The Company has been recognized multiple times by Louisiana State University as one of the Fastest-Growing 100 Tiger Businesses.  This list recognizes successful businesses of various sizes and industries, owned or led by LSU alumnae, for their outstanding growth record.

Since inception, Landon Development has developed over 4,000 home sites in the desirable Denton and Collin counties in north Texas, from the town of Little Elm, across Frisco and into McKinney. This area north of Dallas lies directly in the path of projected high-growth for the next 20 years.  While the majority of these lots were sold to Landon Homes, some were sold to other local and national builders.
